Hallo from Marcallo con Casone, Italy!
Students of 1A class are still observing hazel, birch and bulberry in the school garden. We had many sunny and hot days since 14th April, with minimum temperature of 5-7 degrees Celsius and maximun temperature above 20 degrees Celsius; we had some rain only on 12-13th April (less than 10 mm).

Birch leaves are growing fast (measured on 19th April):
Leaf 1: 5,5 cm
Leaf 2: 5,2 cm
Leaf 3: lost
Leaf 4: 6,3 cm
Photo taken on 12th April

As regards the hazel, our last measurement was taken on 12th April (Leaf 1 lost; leaf 2: 4,9 cm; leaf 3: 6 cm; leaf 4: 4,9 cm). On 19th April, unfortunately we found our branch broker, and leaves were all dry. Here we share a photo taken on 12th April.

On bulberry we have only two leaves left on the branch. On 19 th April they were 11,3 cm (leaf 3) and 8,1 cm (leaf 4). The next photo was taken on 12th April.

We are observing an american Maple, too. Our leaf was 8,3 cm long on 19th April (photo taken om 12th April).

Best regards!
