Hello all <br /><br />With schools in Malta closed till September has brought many changes to our lifestyles. However, this did not stop our participation in the Phenology Campaign. In this post I want to share with you how I am staying in touch wit my students. I created a team on Microsoft Teams and send all updates re leaf growth there. I also assigned some tasks which my students can do at home. For example students are invited to do research on the Fig Tree, prepare a PowerPoint presentation, find recipes using the fruit of the fig tree, cook and prepare food using the fruits of the fig tree and also interview their grandparents about the culture/folklore related to the tree. Once their tasks are complete they will send me photos which I will then share on the school website. <br /><br />Hope you find these ideas useful and pass them to your students as well.
