Hello everyone! Greetings from Ukraine, Chernivtsi Regional Ecology and Nature Center for Youth. This spring we are continuing to observe 8 trees in our region.

Since 2018 we have been observing different trees.
This spring me and my students are observing 8 trees. These are: 3 lindens, 2 birches, 2 oaks and 1 cherry.
4 trees are in Chernivtsi. Here is their description:
1. Lime – Tilia cordata, our name is Lipa-1
Coordinates are longitude 48.252387, latitude 25.954600. Height is about 18,5 m.
2. Birch – Betula pendula, our name is Beresa-1
Coordinates are longitude 48.252387, latitude 25.954600. Height is about 21 m.
3. Birch – Betula pendula, our name is Beresa-2
Coordinates are longitude 48.253002, latitude 25.954697. Height is about 5 m.
4. Oak – Quercus robur, our name is Dub-1
Coordinates are longitude 48.252387, latitude 25.954600. Height is about 2 m.

4 trees are in the Sniachev village, it is about 15 km from Chernivtsi. There are their descriptions:

1. Lime – Tilia cordata, our name is Lipa-2. Height is about 7,5 m.
2. Lime – Tilia cordata, our name is Lipa-3. Height is about 10 m.
3. Cherry – Prunus cerasus, our name is Vyshnya. Height is about 3,5 m.
4. Oak – Quercus robur, our name is Dub-2. Height is about 4 m.
