    <summary type="html">Hi Josephine, &lt;br /&gt;I think I&amp;#39;ve seen that leaf growing in Ireland (or perhaps something similar). I don&amp;#39;t know too much about trees but those two big leaves could be the dominant ones and grow bigger faster. Air and soil temperatures starting to warm up and more growth soon. The Cherry &lt;u&gt;&lt;em&gt;Prunus avium&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/u&gt; is an unpruned tree and still has an untouched crown and soon to display all those beautiful blossoms. The Pear &lt;u&gt;&lt;em&gt;Pyrus communis&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/u&gt; is heavily pruned annually due to the planting location inside the garden walls but the branch selected shows the bud growth although the amount of carbon stored might not be same as an unpruned tree. I don&amp;#39;t know too much about that but w&lt;span style="color: #3e3e3e"&gt;&lt;span style="font-size: 14px;"&gt;e&amp;#39;re on holidays now in Ireland for the next two weeks and with on-line lessons paused there&amp;#39;s plenty of time to try to learn more about the tree protocols.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Mary</summary>

I though I could set up a site in the backgarden with a sessile Oak &lt;u&gt;&lt;em&gt;Quercus robur&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/u&gt; but am wondering if okay to use this tree as it has to be pruned each year to keep it contained for an urban back garden?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mary</summary>
