As part of the Green Down campaign, this year we observed large-leaved and small-leaved linden and hazel around the school. Additionally, we observed a smaller beech tree. In another location, approx. 2 km away from the school, we observed a fig tree in the house garden.

Around the school, we already noticed damage on young, still growing leaves in the spring. By autumn, there were more and more injuries on the leaves. We asked the forester, who explained that there are several causes of injuries. This year, the conditions were somewhat extreme already in the spring, then a very hot summer followed. There were many aphids on the leaves, mold appeared due to the high humidity, and due to the high heat the leaves experienced a "heat stroke" in the summer. Therefore, at the beginning of the autumn campaign, the linden was in the top of the crown with completely changed leaves, and certain branches were bare. Hazel leaves were also damaged, which were drying due to aphids.
We observed the fig for the first time and it had poorly developed mostly only parietal leaves.

As part of the campaign, we observed:
- hazel bushes (Latitude: 45.630015/Longitude: 14.871258/Elevation: 461.5 m)
- linden (Latitude: 45.630615/Longitude: 14.870711/Elevation: 459.9 m) and
- hornbeam (Latitude: 45.62988/Longitude: 14.871701/Elevation: 461.6 m) trees.
