I am a 5th grade teacher, and we start school on Aug. 14th. The week before I will review sun, earth, moon, and eclipses. We will model what will be happening during the eclipse and watch a video on safety protocols. We will also take temperature readings throughout the day. Students will record changes in the eclipse and temperature throughout the day, analyze data, and reflect on findings.
