Is GLOBE at a point with the technology and teaching that everyone is comfortable doing the map I/F for lat/lon, or is there still a desire from a science perspective to encourage the use of GPS devices?

At this moment you have to fill in the coordinates when setting up a research location. So you would have to go to Google maps to find your coordinates and then back to www.globe.gov to enter them.

This is not really user friendly.

You would expect that you can also just click on the map to point to your location.

Hope it can be improved.
