I uploaded a PDF document to the US Partner Forum area and it generated a thumbnail for my document. I love it! If this is part of the upgrade, I'm already becoming a fan.

The GLOBE Program and Next Generation Science Standards team just completed 2.5 LONG days of work on a first draft alignment of GLOBE to NGSS. Big thanks to all involved - great work! Wanted to send out some kudos for the organization of the documents sections for groups. Having the documents split into the official<strong> GLOBE Program Documents </strong>and contributed <strong>Group Documents</strong> makes it really easy to collaborate on new and updating GLOBE resources while keeping the integrity of the approved official documents. So here we are in the middle of the the GLOBE teacher migration and I get a call from a teacher who has participated in Elementary GLOBE in the past and is ready to begin reporting data. I&#39;ve got her on the phone and I&#39;ve pulled up my control panel. I search for her name and nada! I look up the record of her workshop - there she is! In the workshop roster she is associated with her school but if I go to the school&#39;s organization page then she isn&#39;t listed. Ack! What&#39;s going on? <br /><br />Jon helped me track down this teacher&#39;s &#34;here I am, now I&#39;m gone&#34; account and showed me a couple of handy tools for searching for users. <br /><br />In control panel, when you are searching through the users list, the drop down option &#34;ACTIVE&#34; allows you to set the search for active users or inactive users. In this case, something was wrong with the teacher&#39;s account (probably her email bounced back as bad) and the system deactivated her. By selecting to view unactive users I was able to hunt her down and activate her account.<br /><br />The other button that Jon pointed out which I think will turn out to be very handy is in the same user search. &#34;USER GROUP&#34; allows us to search for teachers, trainers, affiliates, etc!<br /><br />These two tools are going to be very helpful with making sense of the migrated records.<br /><br />Thanks Jon!
