It is now available <a href="http://nsidc.org/data/smap/smap-data.html">HERE!</a><br />The SMAP data is pretty hard to access. You would want to access the World View Map:<br /><ul><li>Go to <a href="https://nsidc.org/data/smap/smap-data.html">https://nsidc.org/data/smap/smap-data.html</a></li><li>Find SMAP L3 Radiometer Global Daily 36 km EASE-Grid Soil Moisture and click on link</li><li>Click on link, in the “Get Data” section that says “Package Options”</li><li>Click on World View link</li><li>Once in World View, click on “+” to add layers</li><li>Type SMAP in search box</li><li>Scroll down to find “Soil Moisture (L3, Passive) SMAP / Radiometer”</li><li>You can then use the bottom data bar to access specific calendar days.</li><li>Once you find a day of interest, you can click the icon to the right of the”+” to download the data.
