The aim of this study is to study the causes of the deterioration of
agricultural land in Majees, Sohar Governorate were investigated
through interviews with officials of the General Directorate of
Regional Municipalities and Water Resources in the Governorate
and the owners of degraded farms. The vegetation and the
changing Protocols were applied by comparing two images that
were taken by satellites for Majees over 15 years. The water and
soil protocols were applied to measure the conductivity and acidity
properties of the water and soil samples of a degraded farm in
Majees and a nearby farm in Al Multaqa and their comparison .
