Hello everyone!<br />Hope you are all safe and healthy! Considering the situation we are all facing and with schools closed it was impossible for us to continue observing our birch tree planted in the school garden. The school is out of bounds for all, including teachers. <br />Last photo we took on 17 March and we cought the budburst. Hello!<br />My name is Branka Žnidarić from OŠ Đurmanec, Croatia.<br />My students have been observing the birch tree near our school since autumn 2017.<br />We have started to observe the other birch near our Regional school in Macelj 7 kilometers northeast of Đurmanec in Autumn 2019.<br />Here is the picture of our two birches now.  Hello!<br />Leaves on our Birch are not equally green. Green color is not similar on both sides of the leave. We also collect leaves of Malus domestica and Syringa vulgaris. Leaves on Birch, Malus and Syringa are not equally green. We discovered about six shades of leaves.<br /> Greetings from Croatia!
