With GLOBE Weather, middle school students explore phenomena related to weather and storms during a five-week unit to help them understand weather at local, regional, and global scales. They analyze weather data collected at schools that are a part of the GLOBE Program and they make their own observations of weather following GLOBE Atmosphere Protocols.

By using a storyline instructional approach, students progressively move through the lessons while exploring questions and discovering answers that lead to more questions and opportunities to learn more.
