GLOBE Annual Meetings
Learn about The GLOBE Program's latest developments, collaborate with top educators on GLOBE implementation in the classroom, and connect with other community members and scientists at the GLOBE Annual Meeting. This yearly event brings together members from every area of GLOBE to discuss GLOBE implementation strategies as well as address key science and education elements relevant to the program. From GLOBE Country and U.S. Partnership Coordinators to Science and Education Principal Investigators and global Partnering Organizations, you can share ideas and learn from GLOBE community members at all levels of the program during the meeting.
To kick the meeting off, you have the chance to showcase your GLOBE-related activities through a poster exhibit at our opening reception. This is a great opportunity for community members to connect and share information, ideas, and GLOBE implementation strategies. Afterwards, our collection of science, education, and implementation panels will highlight topics important to leaders in the GLOBE community. These discussions can range from big-picture lectures on how GLOBE has changed over the years to deep-dives on specific GLOBE protocols and their local impact.
Later on, our field day activities are a great way to refresh your protocol skills while networking with your peers. You can also enhance your GLOBE skills by taking one of our workshop sessions. During each session, you'll learn an entirely new GLOBE investigation that you can implement back in your local community.
Tip: In order to share information, ideas and implementation strategies, all meeting proceedings are posted under their respective event pages after the meeting ends.
