Using your Social Media Login
You can use your social media account to login to GLOBE if the email on your GLOBE account matches the email of your social media account. Choose Facebook or Google to login to the appropriate account. Once you've logged in to either Facebook or Google, your authentication will be sent to GLOBE and you will be logged in to the GLOBE system automatically. If you are already logged in with the browser you have open, the process may happen automatically.
GLOBE does not store or access your social media password and can not access your social media account. GLOBE receives confirmation from Facebook or Google that you have confirmed you are someone who has proven they can access an account at the given email. This login will only work if your social media email matches your GLOBE email. GLOBE continues to maintain a GLOBE password, so you can continue to use your GLOBE password instead of your social media login as well if you desire. If you click "Forgot Password" you can reset your GLOBE password, but this action will not impact your social media account.
As always guard your social media account access carefully, use strong passwords, change your password periodically, and don't leave your social media account logged in on any shared browser or system. If you suspect unauthorized access to your Google or Facebook account, change the password immediately and validate recent data submissions.
