We are looking forward to seeing you soon at the 21st GLOBE Annual Meeting in New Haven, Connecticut, USA. At this meeting, we will have two protocol sessions for the adult attendees that will allow you to get hands-on experience with GLOBE protocols and to work with experienced trainers on best practices and tips for completing the protocols as well as time to practice using the GLOBE Data Entry app and the GLOBE Observer. (Remember to download apps before coming to the meeting!)

In order to have this time count as a complete GLOBE training (please note that this is not to become a GLOBE trainer), you will need to complete GLOBE eTraining for the specific GLOBE protocol(s). It would be best to complete this training before arriving at the Annual Meeting. GLOBE eTraining is available here: https://www.globe.gov/get-trained/protocol-etraining

At the meeting, we will have hands-on sessions for the following protocols (click on the name of the location for more details about that site):

Option A: Hammonasset, offsite, 9:30 am - 2:15 pm (lunch at the site)  - this site also includes a training on how to do intertidal transects (not a GLOBE protocol) for all participants. All participants will also do the following GLOBE protocols:

Hydrosphere: Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Conductivity, Salinity, Transparency

The protocol sessions will be held on both Tuesday and Wednesday and the same protocols will be offered each day.

There will be a LIMITED NUMBER of participants for each option, so please sign up for the trainings you would like to attend as early as possible at the meeting. You can sign up for a session starting at 11:30 am on Monday, 31 July 2017 by the registration desk. Sign-ups will close at 5:30 pm on 31 July.
