GLOBE Community Members: Time to Become a Certified GLOBE Trainer or GLOBE Mentor Trainer?
GLOBE Community Members: Are you interested in becoming a GLOBE Trainer or a GLOBE Mentor Trainer? Now is the time!
To maintain GLOBE’s high quality of data collection and analysis within the GLOBE community and beyond, a cadre of certified GLOBE Trainers and GLOBE Mentor Trainers is crucial to the overall GLOBE program. These trainers: 1) assist in the development of the necessary skills and knowledge in both formal and informal settings; and 2) facilitate the implementation of The GLOBE Program through face-to-face and virtual workshops, mentoring and other professional development experiences.
To learn about the GLOBE Trainer and Mentor Trainer certification application process, access the GLOBE Trainer website pages through https://globe.gov/web/trainers. (Please note, GLOBE community members interested in being certified as a GLOBE Trainer or GLOBE Mentor Trainer should become familiar with the specific trainer requirements within the four critical areas of certification before beginning the application process.)
To access all information and the application forms, click here. Upon completion of the application, the applicant must: 1) be signed into the GLOBE website using the email associated with their GLOBE account; and 2) upload their application through the GLOBE website submission link in order to connect the applicant to the formal application process. GLOBE Country Coordinators, the GLOBE Education Working Group, and GIO are all involved in the applicant certification process to ensure consistency and continuity.
