GLOBE e-Training: Community Input Requested
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) is seeking community participation, input and feedback as it builds a robust online GLOBE training (e-Training) platform. It is planned that this will be a model for more e-Training in the future.
Currently, GPO has developed three modules that focus primarily on atmosphere: "Introduction to GLOBE;" "Introduction to the Atmosphere;" and "Clouds and Contrails." All three e-Training modules are based on GLOBE resources and best practices.
At this time, the Program is seeking feedback from the broader GLOBE community to ensure that the content is as culturally relevant as it is scientifically sound. Specifically, we are asking community members to send us examples of how you communicate weather versus climate with students or teachers.
