  • GLOBE Jordan Incorporates Educational Games to Help Implement GLOBE Protocols During Near East and North Africa Regional Meeting “Our story began when we prepared to host the fourth day of the GLOBE NENA (Near East and North Africa) Regional Meeting in Jordan in November 2022,” Reem Dahnous, a GLOBE Science Teacher/Head of Science Department at Alshouf International Schools in Amman, Jordan, said. “It was an amazing day by engaging students to play games that implement and serve all of the GLOBE protocols.”
  • Asia and Pacific Regional Coordination Office Hosts Virtual Wetlands SymposiumIn December 2022 and February 2023, the GLOBE Asia and Pacific Regional Coordination Office (RCO), in an effort to promote the Water Bodies Intensive Observation Period (IOP), hosted a virtual symposium entitled “GLOBE Asia  and Pacific Virtual Wetland Symposium.” The symposium was focused on the theme  of wetland restoration, with the goal of raising awareness about the vital role of wetlands for people and the planet.
