GLOBE community engaged in research during the Lake Pokhara Expedition

The Lake Pokhara Expedition will take place from 27 September through 03 October at Phewa Lake, which is a fresh-water mountain lake of ecological significance located in the southern part of Pokhara Valley.

The goal of the expedition, which include participants from Bhutan, India, Nepal, the Philippines, and Taiwan, is to create a platform for culturally diverse participants to engage in a hands-on learning experience centered around understanding the effects of climate change in the region through the use of relevant GLOBE protocols.
