Million Women Mentors Summit in September – Advancing STEM Success
Million Women Mentors (MWM) is hosting its first Summit and Gala this September. The event will feature updates and best practices surrounding the MWM effort. Participants will hear from state leadership, mentors and mentees, and corporations; and will learn how the movement has grown and how different types of organizations are getting involved.
MWM supports the engagement of one million science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) mentors (male and female) to increase the interest and confidence of girls and women to persist and succeed in STEM programs and careers.
MWM is a collaboration of more than 58 partners (reaching over 30 million girls and women), 30 sponsors, and 30 state leadership teams.
The MWM Summit and Gala will be held at the National Press Club in Washington, DC on Monday, 21 September 2015, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (EDT).
