North American Partner Meeting Hotel Reservation Deadline is 14 March
Now is the time to register for the North America Partner Meeting and Train the Trainer Workshop beginning 31 March. Be mindful of the fact that deadline to book the hotel is Friday, 14 March. Here is all the information that you need to make your arrangements:
North American Partner Meeting: Click to register. More information can be found on the registration page. The meeting will run from 8:30-5pm with the reception after. Be sure to register and reserve your hotel room! A block of rooms has been reserved under the name "GLOBE" at:

PLEASE NOTE: You are responsible for making your own reservations for your stay. Please call the hotel directly: 1-888-744-5394. Reservations must be made by March 14, 2014.
To get to Falmouth, Peter Pan is the cheapest option: http://peterpanbus.com/. Look up the Boston Logan to Falmouth, MA schedule for details. The bus is $28.80. Buses run about every hour. Another option for transportation is: http://gogreenshuttle.com/ which is more expensive but if you can share, it is not out of line. Here are links to a form and spreadsheet to facilitate carpooling/ride-sharing from Boston.
Train-The-Trainer Update: Please click on the link and register through the GLOBE website now! http://www.globe.gov/web/united-states-of-america/events. The TTT starts on Monday March 31st at 1pm and includes a working dinner. The workshop will run a full day on Tuesday April 1st and ends before dinner. The hotel rate looks to be $79 a night. The cost for this workshop is $25. This TTT would be in support of the new partnership we are working on between GLOBE and the NASA's Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) mission. Also, there is another mission that might relate - NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) Mission.
