Peace Corps and GLOBE Team Up to Host Webinar Highlighting Environmental Education Resources TODAY – Register Now!
In honor of Earth Day – an event dedicated to bringing awareness to global environmental issues – the Peace Corps’ World Wise Schools is teaming up with Dr. Lin Chambers, the GLOBE Program Manager at NASA Headquarters, to host a webinar highlighting environmental education resources available to educators and Peace Corps Volunteers. The webinar will begin at 5:00 p.m. (ET) today, 01 May!
This webinar is free and open to the public, but the target audience is Peace Corps Volunteers and educators – including classroom teachers, camp counselors, after-school program leaders, and scout leaders – interested in environmental education.
This event is offered as part of the #WorldWiseTalks webinar series. Established in 1989, the Paul D. Coverdell World Wise Schools program is dedicated to promoting global learning through lesson plans, activities, and events – all based on Peace Corps Volunteer experiences.
