Annual Student Conference in Lithuania

The yearly student conference took place from 30 November through 01 December at Vilnius, Lithuania. Guests from the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Science and Education were present at the opening ceremony to greet the 
participants.
At the conference, students and their teachers presented their achievements and the research projects they worked on while participating in The GLOBE Program and the Baltic Sea Project. During breaks between student presentations, specially invited lecturers shared their experience with work on other citizen science projects and advice on nature observations!
We hope that this event will encourage students to make their first steps as scientists!
