Deadline for Submission of Abstracts for Annual Meeting Student Research Exhibition Extended to 01 June!

The 5th Student Research Exhibition will take place during the poster session of the 21st GLOBE Annual Meeting in New Haven Connecticut, USA. The deadline for the submission of student abstracts for the exhibition has been extended to 01 June.

Students, and community members, are welcome to submit an abstract and present a poster during the poster session. If you are presenting a poster or PowerPoint for the exhibition, please provide the following information (it is vital to provide ALL information requested):

  1. GLOBE School Name
  2. Presentation Title
  3. Presentation Abstract (100-word description, in English)
  4. Student Name(s)
  5. Teacher Name(s)
  6. Type of presentation (poster or PowerPoint)

In order to be considered for inclusion in the full program, and to reserve presentation space (poster or table) you must provide this information via email to education@globe.gov by 01 June 2017.

The deadline to register for the 21st GLOBE Annual Meeting and Student Research Experience is also fast approaching – 05 July. After that date, there will be a $100 late fee. The deadline to book your hotel room is also 05 July.

The event, and the adventure, will take place in New Haven, Connecticut, USA (30 July-03 August) at the campus of Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU). The theme of the Annual Meeting is “Coastal Resilience in Urban Environments.” Check out GLOBE’s one-stop-shop for:
