GLOBE Partners: Call for Interested GLOBE Exhibitors at 2019 World Scout Jamboree! Submit Activity Plans by 31 October
NASA, spearheaded by NASA Glenn Research Center, is planning to have an exhibitor tent at the 2019 World Scout Jamboree – and the NASA Office of STEM Engagement is soliciting input from GLOBE partners who may be interested in supporting the event with hands-on activities for students.
The event will take place from 22 July through 02 August 2019, at Summit Bechtel Reserve, Mount Hope, West Virginia, USA. The theme of the Jamboree is: Unlock a New World. NASA is supporting the Living in the 21st Century: Exploration Subtheme. In relation to this, participants will consider what exploration might look like in the future, and how that differs from today.
The World Scout Jamboree occurs every four years, and is hosted by different countries each time. The United States, in partnership with Mexico and Canada, is hosting the 2019 event. For more information, click here.).
The Jamboree is a coed event bringing together approximately 40,000 scouts from all over the world. Scouts will be between the ages of 14 and 17 years old. The Jamboree is two weeks in length, and exhibit tents will be available to scouts throughout each day.

- Dates available between 22 July and 02 August

NASA Glenn coordinators will make final determinations on the NASA exhibit space. Not all offers may be accepted. (Note: Beyond the exhibitor tent, NASA does not have any funding to support this activity.)
