This month, the Earth Day Network (EDN) will kick off U.S. and global activities on a massive scale to mark the 45th anniversary of Earth Day. Under EDN's leadership, Earth Day has grown from a single-day event to a year-round movement to promote sustainability.  >>

YLACES (Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists) presented the founding Chief Scientist of The GLOBE Program, Dr. Barrett Rock, with the first Youth Environmental Science (YES) Medal. The award was presented by Dr. Dixon Butler, YLACES President, at the Annual Meeting of the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) in Chicago, Illinois this March.  >>

GLOBE Camp in Oman, 17-19 March 2015, is slated to be one of the many celebrations of the 20th Anniversary of The GLOBE Program.  >>

NASA's Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission wants you to "get out your cameras and show off the signs of spring in your area!" The submission period for the photo contest is from 30 March through 27 April.  >>
