The GLOBE Implementation Office will celebrate Earth Day 2017 on Friday 21 April with a special Google. Hangout that will feature one video from each GLOBE region. Enter your video to be the one from your region!  >>

Starting tomorrow, 01 March 2017, NASA and The GLOBE Program invite participants to submit ground cloud observations following an updated Cloud Protocol. A team from NASA Langley Research Center will compare observations with data from satellites/instruments for comparison/validation purposes and also return the matched data to the participant, encouraging engagement in authentic science experiences through NASA missions.  >>

The Science Directorate at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, USA leads several science education programs including GLOBE, MY NASA DATA, and S’COOL. They are looking for several teachers/educators to come to NASA Langley this summer and work with their science education team. The summer internships run from 30 May through 04 August (40 hours per week).  >>

The 2017 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) is accepting student reports through 03 April. Judges are needed to help score the projects after they have been submitted.  >>

Tip of the Week: GLOBE provides the ability to view and interact with data measured across the world. Select the visualization tool to map, graph, filter and export data that have been measured across GLOBE protocols since 1995. Tutorials on using the visualization system are available in a PDF version and a PowerPoint Version.  >>

In December 2016, The GLOBE Program hosted the annual Urban Heat Island/Surface Temperature Research Campaign (formerly known as the Surface Temperature Field Campaign).
