GLOBE Presentation and Blog from COP-15

The eyes of the world will be on Copenhagen this week to learn about discussions and activities taking place at the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference. From December 7-18, representatives from 192 countries will converge in Copenhagen for the conference, known as COP-15. This willl be a pivotal moment in determining whether—and how—the world will take action to avoid climate change over the next half century. GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign Coordinator Dr. Donna Charlevoix is there to present highlights from GLOBE secondary school student research investigations focusing on climate research and explorations. During her 3-day visit,  Dr. Charlevoix will be updating the GLOBE Community with her impressions of COP-15. You can read her blog and see her photos posted on the GLOBE Scientists' Blog.
