About Alder Creek Community Forest
Alder Creek Community Forest (ACCF), located in Douglas County, Oregon on the U.S. west coast, is an educational nonprofit operating on a 32 hectare forest, with field-based opportunities to participate in GLOBE atmosphere, biosphere, hydrosphere, pedosphere, and integrative earth system activities. ACCF primarily serves grade K-12 students from Douglas County, who participate in ACCF's Our Place on Earth curriculum. GLOBE plays a major role in Our Place on Earth; here is how we integrate GLOBE into our site data protocols.
