IVSS - January 1 to March 10 projects accepted
The GLOBE Intern
ational Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) is a way
for students from all GLOBE countries to showcase the results of their research projects. Now it's time for your students to show the world what they've learned! The theme for this year's IVSS is Global Connections: Investigating Earth as a System Together. Students are encouraged to explore the Earth as a System Protocol Bundles and use them as tools to investigate their environmental research questions.

GLOBE Student Vloggers – Applications for 2023/2024 are open – deadline is 01 March
GLOBE is seeking the next cohort of 12 students (two from each GLOBE region) to volunteer as GLOBE Student Vloggers (GSVs). This position is competitive; the deadline to apply is 01 March.

Spring Phenology Campaign – February – May
The Campaign will continue with spring budburst and green up observations, carbon cycle activities, international collaboration and much more. Registration is open from February.

Trees around the GLOBE – continues to September 30, 2023
Year 5 of the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign with participants from 60 GLOBE countries focuses on the
theme “Looking at Change Over Time and Organizing Student Research.” This year, the campaign will focus deep on getting students really focused on the trees and land cover in their local regions by taking a detailed look at the characteristics in every land cover and tree height photo they take.
