GLOBE Protocol Games Challenge—Global Finalists and an Honorable Mention
We are very excited to announce that on 19 November, two teams that responded to the NASA Space Apps GLOBE Protocol Games challenge were nominated as Global Finalists: EcoNet from Nashik, India, and EcoRangers from Mymensingh, Bangladesh!! Congratulations to both teams for developing informative games in response to the challenge. We also are happy to report that another team, Quasar from Lambayeque, Peru, received an Honorable Mention.

Ljubljana, Slovenia, Hosts Successful 2024 GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Meeting
This year’s annual GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Meeting provided a vibrant platform for the GLOBE community to connect, exchange ideas, and share experiences. Taking place from 11 to 15 November, the event brought together over 100 participants from 26 countries, including nations from the Europe and Eurasia region and the United States.

Request for Comments on NASA Solicitation for New and Revised GLOBE Protocols
NASA will be soliciting proposals to develop new GLOBE measurement protocols and modify existing protocols! You can comment on the language of the solicitation; comments should be submitted by 31 December 2024.

Recording of 30 Years of GLOBE Campaign Webinar, Data Time Machine: How to Look at Local Data Over Time, Now Available
On 7 November Peder Nelson, GLOBE Land Cover Science Lead, led a discussion on exploring the past 30 years of GLOBE data and connecting it to present observations, including strategies to address common challenges encountered in creating a data time series from local data. The webinar recording is now available!

GLOBE Ireland Celebrates National Tree Day
GLOBE Ireland teamed up with Green Schools Biodiversity to celebrate National Tree Day with an interactive webinar. The GLOBE Ireland team was delighted to be joined by NASA scientist Brian Campbell, who gave a talk about how NASA uses both satellites and citizen scientist observations to study trees around the globe. 2024–25 Student Vlogger Program Introduces First Group of Vloggers
The GLOBE Student Vlogger program provides students with the opportunity to learn about how to create vlog-style videos to show off their world and their GLOBE experiences. This year's cohort has been hard at work on introduction videos, which will be released on GLOBE’s YouTube channel over the next few weeks. The first introduction video was just released!
