The GLOBE Program in the first half year of 2022
It was an unusual year 2021, mostly in on-line mode. But even so, it was full of activities, cooperation, communication, sharing results and support. We are grateful for being part of it together with all of you and we want to thank you for your great involvement and contributions.

Clouds Challenge 2022 – January 15 to February 15
Did you know that clouds can both warm and cool our planet? Keeping an eye on cl ouds helps NASA study our climate. We need your help capturing data about clouds where you live! GLOBE invites you to take part in Cloud Challenge: “Clouds in a Changing Climate.”

IVSS - January 1 to March 11 projects accepted
The GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) is a way for students from all GLOBE countries to showcase the results of their hard work by sharing their research projects. Now it's time for your students to show the world what they've learned! This year, the IVSS is focusing on Engineering Solutions for a Changing Climate.

Spring Phenology Campaign – February – May
The Campaign will continue with spring budburst and green up observations, carbon cycle activities, international collaboration and much more. Registration is open from February.
- Trees around the GLOBE – continues to September 2022
Year 4 of the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign with participants from 58 GLOBE countries focuses on tree height, with a close relationship with land cover, greenings, and carbon cycle.
