Today (13 August) Mission Mosquito Webinar: “Mosquito Mappers Research Showcase: SEES Summer High School Interns 2020”
On Thursday, 13 August, at 2:00 p.m. ET (7:00 p.m. UTC), GLOBE Mission Mosquito (GMM) will be hosting a webinar, “Mosquito Mappers Research Showcase: SEES Summer High School Interns 2020.”
During the webinar, students in the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) Summer High School Intern Program will share their research. The projects will demonstrate how different data analysis tools, such as ArcGIS Online, Collect Earth Online, Python, R and imageJ, as well as NASA datasets, can be combined with GLOBE Observer data to understand where and why productive mosquito habitats can be found This summer 113 rising high school juniors and seniors are participating in the NASA SEES Virtual Summer High School Internship: Mosquito Mappers.
