Kristin Wegner is a Project Manager at the GLOBE Implementation Office. She leads the GLOBE International Scientist Network (GISN) and Eco-Schools partnership, and supports community outreach efforts. She is the GIO point-of-contact for GLOBE field measurement campaigns, such as the El Niño Campaign, and the GLOBE Evaluation Working Group.
Kristin leads Climate Voices, a UCAR program funded by the United Nations Foundation, that connects climate scientists with local communities to initiate discussions about the local effects of climate change and possible ways to address impacts.
Kristin has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Purdue University, a Master's in Environmental Leadership from Naropa University, and studied at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. She was an Environmental Awareness Education Peace Corps Volunteer in the Dominican Republic (2004-2007).
