“Biomas y trabajos colaborativos”: se realizó el tercer webinar de la campaña “Árboles dentro de LAC” | "Biomes and collaborative work": the third webinar of the "Trees within LAC" campaign was held.
El jueves 20 de abril se realizó el tercer webinar de la campaña “Árboles dentro de LAC”: “Biomas y trabajos colaborativos”, en donde participaron 91 maestros de 14 países (Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala, México, Panamá, Paraguay, Perú, República Checa, República Dominicana, Surinam, Uruguay y Estados Unidos).
En esta ocasión contamos con la participación de Nektaria Adaktilou, actualmente evaluador externo de Globe Mission Earth desde los Estados Unidos, y Lenka Kleger, quién trabaja para la Oficina de Coordinación Regional para Europa y Eurasia y Coordinadora de la Campaña de Fenología de la región, procedente de la República Checa.
Ambas jurados trabajaron en conjunto con Ramona Mercieca, GLOBE Deputy Country Coordinator de Malta y Peter Falcon de NASA, desde los Estados Unidos.
Tras una exhaustiva y difícil tarea, con 248 dibujos provenientes de 8 países, el jurado eligió al ganador, a través de una metodología con puntajes.
Mayerli Elizabeth Juárez, de 14 años, fue la ganadora del concurso para diseñar el logo de la campaña “Árboles dentro de LAC”, del Centro Educativo Buganvilia, Guatemala.
Además de anunciar al ganador del concurso, los temas del webinar fueron los siguientes:
- Uso de la aplicación Globe Observer, para cobertura terrestre
- Método manual de cobertura de dosel y de suelo
- Ejemplos de biomas de GLOBE LAC
- Ejemplo de actividad de aprendizaje con imágenes satelitales
- Proyecto colaborativo. Fenómeno ENSO (testimonios de María Inés Amato de Argentina, Patricia Piriz de Uruguay, Marta Kingsland de Argentina y Gustavo de la Cruz de Perú)

El evento tuvo traducción simultánea de español a inglés y de español a portugués.
