Celebrate Earth Day 2022 with NASA (Online and In-Person Experiences): Share the Science!

Virtual (Online Everywhere)

NASA’s Earth Day 2022 online celebrations go live on 22 April, and remain available (on demand) through 02 May.

Earth Day provides a chance for NASA to reach various audiences, from people who may already be well-aware of NASA’s activities in Earth and climate science to those who are being introduced to the portfolio for the first time.

The 2022 NASA Earth Day celebration will include:

  • live online events on Earth Day, 22 April;
  • live chat with NASA experts;
  • live Kahoot! Trivia games;
  • a kid-friendly fun zone;
  • an educational learning zone; and
  • Spanish language speakers and resources.

In Person (Washington, D.C., USA)

If you happen to live in, or near, Washington D.C., join NASA’s live celebration of Earth Day in the Main Hall at Union Station from 22-24 April (12:00 noon to 05:00 p.m. daily). (There will be something for everyone at this free and open-to-the-public event, which will feature a variety of engaging science activities and demos, including a unique opportunity to step into NASA’s virtual world.)
