GLOBE at Night - 13 to 22 March

GLOBE at Night is an international citizen-science campaign to raise public awareness of the impact of light pollution. GLOBE students and community members measure the brightness of the night sky and submit their observations to a website online or by smart phone. There are four opportunities to participate in GLOBE at Night in 2012. The final two are are 13 – 22 March and 11 – 20 April.
In 2011, more countries than ever before participated in the GLOBE at Night campaign. Nearly all of the 14,249 measurements were taken by 48 of the 115 countries. Participation in GLOBE at Night is fun and easy! For more information, visit the GLOBE at Night webpage.
