GLOBE Israel Seeks Three U.S. GLOBE Junior High Schools or High Schools to Participate in Four-Week MOOC! Begins 19 February
GLOBE Israel is seeking three U.S. GLOBE Junior High Schools or High Schools (students between the ages of 14 to 16) to participate with three Israeli schools in a four-week Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), which will begin on 19 February.
The goal of this MOOC, which will take place via Skye meetings, is to encourage collaboration and to connect science, information systems and technology, and culture. Each participating school will have the assistance of a facilitator /mentor to lead the sessions. This GLOBE MOOC will serve as an important tool to widen access to all of the benefits that THE GLOBE Program has to offer, and to motivate GLOBE students to develop their scientific skills and their mastery of digital literacy.
