NOAA's Teacher at Sea Program Now Accepting Applications

Are you an educator interested in doing research from a ship on the ocean? Would your GLOBE classroom benefit from your professional development in marine science? If so, explore the opportunities offered by the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Teacher at Sea program, now accepting applications until 30 November 2011. The mission of NOAA's Teacher at Sea program is to give teachers a clearer insight into our ocean planet, a greater understanding of maritime work and studies, and to increase their level of environmental literacy by fostering an interdisciplinary research experience. This opportunity is open to all U.S. and international teachers.
