GLOBE Mission Earth
NASA Langley partners with GLOBE Mission Earth (GME) to provide NASA Earth Science data, NASA resources and NASA Subject Matter Expert (SME) connections to the educators they support. As the developers and coordinators of the My NASA Data website and data visualization tool, our team offers NASA Earth science data that can be used to augment the GLOBE data being collected by students as a source of global data comparison or expansion.  As a NASA center we have the unique opportunity to provide GME teachers with the ability to connect their classrooms with NASA Subject Matter Experts, promoting STEM related career choices and enhancing content development supporting student research. Through the alignment of NASA resources, our partnership provides GME teachers with tools to guide their students in the process of scientific research. 
NESEC - NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative
The NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative (NESEC) is building pathways between NASA’s Earth STEM assets to large, diverse audiences in order to enhance K-12 teaching and learning, and to provide opportunities for lifelong learners. STEM assets include subject matter experts, science content, and authentic STEM experiences. NESEC is a partnership between the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and Earth science divisions at three NASA Centers: Goddard Space Flight Center, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Langley Research Center.

Camp Discovery
Camp Discovery was part of the GLOBE Goes to Camp Pilot during the summer of 2019, implementing GLOBE data collection in their camp throughout the summer and extending that with schools in the surrounding school districts during the school year as part of their community outreach program.
National Institute of Aerospace (NIA)
NIA is a private, non-profit research institute formed by a consortium of universities and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics Foundation. The NIA was created to complement Langley Research Center's mission to do cutting-edge aerospace and atmospheric research, develop new technologies for the nation, and help train the next generation of scientists and engineers.

​​​​​​​The roster of major research universities in this strategic partnership includes consortium members: Georgia Institute of Technology, Hampton University, North Carolina A&T State University, North Carolina State University, University of Maryland, University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and affiliate members: Old Dominion University and the College of William & Mary.
