Maine and New Hampshire Youth Observe Leaf Color Changes with Gulf of Maine Research Institute

New Resource Helps with Hosting Local Student Research Symposium
The GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office developed the Local Student Research Symposium Quick Start Guide to help educators and community leaders as they host their own student research symposia (SRS). SRS are opportunities for students to share research, sharpen science communication skills, and develop their identities as scientists.

Preschoolers Exploring their Environment with GLOBE
A new Preschool Nature Explorers program is now available to learners at a preschool in downtown Seattle that welcomes children of all abilities. This program is a collaboration between U.S. GLOBE Partner Dr. Tsurusaki (University of Washington - Bothell), the Seattle Public Library, and the Northwest Center preschool.

The NASA Science Activation (SciAct) program connects people of all ages and backgrounds with science content, experts, data and more from NASA’s Science Mission Directorate to encourage participation in science. This is accomplished through collaboration between SciAct project teams, including some GLOBE Partnerships, working within their communities across the U.S.

Digging into Soil with GLOBE Goes to Camp
Camps in the GLOBE Goes to Camp project dug into soils this summer with a closer look at "The World Beneath Our Feet." Tina Harte Ballinger, NASA Langley Research Center, GLOBE Goes to Camp Pilot Project Coordinator, trained camps in soil protocols and learning activities prior to the 2025 summer camp season.
