NOW AVAILABLE! New Mobile App for Data Entry

GLOBE'S new Data Entry App, for smartphones and tablets, is now available on both iOS and Android platforms!

GLOBE's Data Entry App allows you to enter GLOBE protocol data directly from your iOS or Android device for any of GLOBE's protocols. After an initial download of forms, you can record your measurements in the field, and then choose to send your data to GLOBE when you have an internet connection.  The app streamlines some aspects of data entry, and allows you to use your phone's camera to document your sites and measurements.  This app is intended only for users who have an existing GLOBE account. 

The current version - Version 1.0 will allow you to enter data only. Later versions will allow you to edit data you've measured and create sites. These features are coming soon in a new release.

Delay in adding a site. I added it to website but still not appearing in app. About 10 minutes so far.

The app refreshes about once a day, but if you click the button on the home page which says "check for form updates", it will download any changes, new sites etc. immediately
