Deadline Extended to Submit Proposal to Host the 2014 GLOBE Learning Expedition (GLE)
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) in Boulder, Colorado is extending the deadline to submit proposals to host the 2014 GLOBE Learning Expedition (GLE). Proposals are now due 31 August 2013. This replaces the previous deadline of 2 August 2013.
The 2014 GLE will provide opportunities for students to present their research to an international audience, to engage in field studies led by master teachers and to build networks for future collaborative activities. With high-caliber science research presentations and keynote speakers, a remarkably diverse roster of participants and a wide range of cultural presentations and social events, GLEs provided a glimpse of the GLOBE community at its best. This is a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with NASA and the GLOBE Program Office while bringing this landmark event to your country.
See the Request for Proposal (RFP) and documents to be submitted as part of your proposal to host this event on the GLOBE website.
All questions and comments related to the RFP, as well as your proposal, should be sent to Patti Young, UCAR contracts administrator, at firstname.lastname@example.org. We request that you do not copy the GLOBE Program Office (GPO) staff members, members of the RFP evaluation committee or anyone else when sending questions, comments or your proposal.
