Educators and pre-service teachers, earn $150 while learning about two exemplary science education resources! The GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office is looking for educators to highlight connections between the USDA Forest Service’s Natural Inquirer readers for students and GLOBE protocols, learning activities, and storybooks. The connections can be made via a blog post or other formats. We expect one crosswalk to take between two and four hours to research, design, and write. Completed projects will be posted to the GLOBE U.S. Country Coordinator’s blog and related social media.  >>

On 07 May 2022, twenty-one students from seven schools attended a Student Research Symposium at the Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve supported by GLOBE partner Peggy Foletta.  >>

Twelve summer camps will participate in the "GLOBE Goes to Camp” Pilot this summer. Campers will connect with NASA scientists, collect local environmental data, and collaborate with other campers.  >>

The South Dakota Discovery Center is using the GLOBE Observer Land Cover protocol as part of its watershed information and outreach efforts to help watershed managers understand water quantity and water quality issues.  >>

Elementary schools in Northside ISD (Texas) will use native planting sites as part of a campus nature walk on Earth Day, 2021.  >>

Heather Tabisola, a member of the GLOBE community since her high school years, has spent her life in and around the oceans of the world studying and observing marine life. Her career reflects the essential science skills nurtured by GLOBE, particularly collaboration and communication.  >>

Todd Toth at NASA Goddard worked with teachers to use coding kits and drones to collect atmospheric data. Data were then analyzed and sent to The GLOBE Program.  >>
