Students Present GLOBE Research at INFINITY Science Center
Nineteen student scientists gathered on 5 and 6 April, 2024, at the INFINITY Science Center in Pearlington, Mississippi, for the U.S. GLOBE Southeast Student Research Symposium. The students traveled to the symposium with educators and chaperones from Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi to celebrate environmental research conducted using GLOBE protocols. They presented their GLOBE research to each other and STEM professionals.  >>

Students in Ireland and USA Share Green-Down Data and Culture in Virtual Meeting
On November 14, third grade students from Hampstead Central School (New Hampshire, USA) met virtually with primary students from Timoleague National School (Ireland) to share the results of their GLOBE green-down research. Both schools had been collecting GLOBE green-down data as part of the European and North American GLOBE Phenology Campaigns.   >>

GLOBE U.S. Sophomores and Juniors: Apply for the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2024 Summer Internship Program
The GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office is accepting applications for a current GLOBE student at the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2024 Summer Internship Program. Interns will learn how to interpret NASA satellite data and work with scientists and engineers at the University of Texas at Austin Center for Space Research. This internship is only open to current high school Sophomores and Juniors that are U.S. citizens.   >>
