2023 IVSS Accepting Reports through 10 March!
The 2023 IVSS is now accepting reports. New this year, reports will be accepted in Portuguese and Thai. Reports will be accepted through 10 March. Each IVSS student project must be submitted via the IVSS Upload Tool, which is now available. (NOTE: Before you access the Report Tool, make sure you have all of the necessary items prepared. Keep in mind that you also have editing access within the Report Tool itself.)

Judges Needed!
The 2023 International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) is seeking the assistance of volunteer judges to score student projects. (Judges will be provided with scoring information and will be assigned projects.) The judging period will take place from 30 March through 09 April. A judging webinar will be held on 29 March.

About the 2023 IVSS
The IVSS is a way for primary through undergraduate students from all GLOBE countries to showcase their research and hard work. With GLOBE, students learn the practices of science through hands-on investigations in their own communities, which sparks their curiosity and interest in science.
The theme of the 2023 IVSS is “Global Connections: Investigating Earth as a System Together.” This year, students are encouraged to explore the Earth as a System Protocol Bundles and use them as tools to investigate their environmental research questions. This year’s theme also has similarities to NASA's Year of Open Science and inspires students to make connections with other students and scientific explorations around the world. Students are also advised to present their research in creative ways, for example, through storytelling tools including video, online media, storyboards, drawings, and more.
