The U.S. GLOBE Coordination Office, with support from the USDA Forest Service, Eastern Region (Agreement Number 21-CS-11090100-035), is accepting proposals for development of an “Earth Around Us” Tent, with accompanying mural panels and materials for science activity kits for their local teacher network and programming. The deadline for proposal submission has been extended to 30 September.

Tents can use the soil and water models already developed or can develop their own set of resources. Ten U.S. GLOBE partners will be chosen through a competitive process. Successful proposals will receive $2,200 to offset the costs of materials for a tent and activity supplies.

For more information please see the Request for Proposalsthe Soil Tent website, and/or contact Haley Wicklein at usglobeoffice@gmail.com.
