Participate in the Surface Temperature Field Campaign Throughout the Month of December
Dec 02, 2013
The 8th Annual Surface Temperature Field Campaign is taking place throughout the month of December.
The Surface Temperature Field Campaign is a research effort between GLOBE schools and scientists at the University of Toledo, Ohio, U.S.A., to understand the relationship between surface cover on the ground and surface temperature, and especially how snow affects surface temperature. This year, scientists are also investigating how the percentage of impervious surfaces and surface temperature are related. You don't need to have snow on the ground to participate in this field campaign. Click here for more details.
