Technology and Communication Update
If you want to continue to receive publications and email messages from the GLOBE Program Office (GPO) be on the lookout for an email, coming soon, that will allow you to do just that. You must respond to the email to continue to remain on our mailing lists. This procedure is being put in place order to ensure the security and privacy of all GLOBE communications.
1) The long-term air temperature and precipitation data from the Global Historical Climate Network (GCHN) is available here as an Google Earth KML file has been updated and the ability to export CSV files for use in analytic programs like Excel and GIS has been restored.
2) The new GLOBE website (www.globe.gov) passed the one million pageviews mark last week. This milestone comes less than one year after the switch to the new website system. Pageviews is the total number of pages viewed across the entire website. This number also includes repeated views of a single page as that too is a meaningful metric.
3) The Enhanced Workshop management tool is now online for Partners to setup and administer their workshops. Visit the following links for some initial information on added workshop management functionality and other useful documentation.
