Dear friends,

one can find a number of streets around Malta and Gozo, named after the Fig Tree.  This indicates the popularity of this tree among the Maltese and Gozitan populations.

In Malta, one can find such streets in iż-Żurrieq (Bubaqra); in Mosta, in Qormi and in Naxxar; while in Gozo, one finds such a street in Ta' Sannat.

Do you know of other streets in your country named after the Fig Tree?
